Grade I

Parish church. Early C12, C13, C14. Restored C20. Coursed and squared rubble and dressed stone. Ashlar dressings. Concrete tile roof with coped gables. Single side wall stack. Nave, 2 bays, has gabled diagonal buttress at each corner. To south C15 triple lancet with four centred arched heads and square chamfered reveal. To right, C14 double lancet with hood mould and single mask stop. West end has central shouldered doorway, restored. Above, C14 double lancet with hood mould and mask stops. Blank north side mainly rebuilt. Chancel, single bay, has 2 gabled diagonal buttresses to east. East end has central C12 round headed window flanked by similar single windows at a lower level. South side has a C14 double lancet with ogee heads and square headed reveal. Nave has restored queen post roof with 2 C15 cambered moulded span beams and curved brackets on corbels. Single foliate boss and carved head. Round chancel arch, C12, has double roll moulding, chamfered imposts, shafts with simple leaf capitals. Chancel has C19 queen post roof. North side has to east, restored square aumbry. East end has to right, half- round bracket. South side has to east, cusped headed piscina, early C14. To its right, broken C14 stone bench with arms. Fittings include C14 eggcup font with round stem. C20 chairs, desk and bookstand. Lectern 1982. C17 framed chest with chip carving. C17 bobbin turned chair. Altar rail with Gothick tracery, early C19. Pair of late C19 oil lamps on brackets.
