Churchyard

The northern part of the
churchyard from the tower
The southern part of the
churchyard from the tower

The churchyard is formed of an irregular shape, fronting Newcastle Avenue to the north and surrounded by housing. The boundaries to the north and west comprise a low stone wall with gates at the north-west corner leading to a path which is the principal entrance to the church. The boundary on the west to south sides is formed of mature trees and shrubs, and to the east by cultivated hedges.

The south portion of the churchyard is occupied by a car park and the church hall, to the west by a small area of grass and a roadway, to the north further grass and paths, and to the east a path and grass. There are some mature trees at the north-east corner and a further iron gateway leading off Newcastle Avenue. There are no burials.
