1 Stonework late 19th century, three lancets. It depicts:
Agnus Dei with banner of victory
Christ in Gethsemene
The Crucifixion
The Burial of Christ
Christ carrying his cross
The Annunciation
The Last Supper
The middle part of the inscription is obscured by the reredos. As far as it can be discerned it reads:
To the glory of God in
Blessed are they that |

Born Nov 1843 died Aug 20 1874
for they shall be filled |
|
(The lower line must surely read something like "Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled" from Matthew 5.6)

Stonework late 19th century, single lancet. The window depicts the
Annunciation. It is by
C E Kempe, from c1897, and carries his wheatsheaf trademark.
The angel proclaims “Ave Maria” (Hail Mary), and she responds “Ecce ancilla Domini” (Behold the handmaid of the Lord). A book before her proclaims “Exultavit cor meum Dno” (My heart rejoices in the Lord).
The inscription at the base reads:
To the Glory of God, and in remembrance of
Sophia Elizabeth, eldest daughter of James
and Catherine Haffenden, and wife of
Thomas Dickinson Hall of Whatton Manor,
obiit June 21st 1896 aged 81. |
3 Stonework late 19th century, single lancet. The glass depicts
Christ with fishermen on the Sea of Galilee.
The inscription reads:

5 Stonework late 19th century, three rounded trefoil lights with quatrefoil tracery. Glass by William Morris, design by Burne Jones c1878. The larger figures depict: St Peter, Christ the King and St John. Below these are scenes from the New Testament: Christ making the blind to see;
Christ raising the dead;
Sts Peter and John healing a lame man.
In the upper tracery are angels playing musical instruments
The inscription (across all three panels, and all in lower case) reads:
| to the glory of god and in memory of william harrison died jan 12th 1868 aged 91 years and of elizabeth his wife who died Nov 4th 1865 aged 86 years and of their two sons william who died nov 17th 1869 aged 67 years and edwin who died june 14th 1876 aged 52 years |

Beneath is a metal plaque inscribed:
THIS WINDOW IS ERECTED BY JOHN INNOCENT,
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN PIOUS MEMORY OF HIS PARENTS,
GEORGE INNOCENT WHO DIED AUG 2ND 1856 AGED 75 YEARS,
AND HIS WIFE REBECCA WHO DIED FEB 3RD 1863 AGED 81 YEARS.
ALSO IN MEMORY OF THE SAID JOHN INNOCENT,
WHO DIED MAY 5TH 1900 AGED 83 YEARS AND HIS WIFE ANNIE,
WHO DIED OCT 27TH 1896 AGED 74 YEARS. R.I.P.
THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE HAD IN EVERLASTING REMEMBRANCE. |

Across all three lights: Christ preaching to labourers in the fields and vineyards.
Inscription:

8 Stonework 19th century: three rounded trefoil lights and tracery. The window depicts three scenes from the life of Christ.
The inscription reads:
To the glory of God & in memory of their dear children George who died July 12th 1865 aged 6 years and
Rebecca Frances the wife of John Grove Hamerton who died March 23 1888 aged 24 years their
sorrowing parents John and Anne Innocent Placed this memory.
If I be bereaved of my children I am bereaved. |
9 Stonework 19th century four lights, rounded trefoil and seven traceries.
In the tracery, along with symbols of Christ and the Holy Spirit we are exhorted (from James 1.22):
Be ye doers of the word
and not hearers only |
The upper part of the middle two main lights declares (from John 3.5):
Except a man be born of water and of
the Spirit he cannot enter into
the kingdom of God |
The principal depictions in the main lights are of:
Crossing the Red Sea
Presentation in the Temple
Christ baptised by John
The baptism of children
Below these are depictions of the four evangelists.
The inscription along the bottom of the window reads:
