Thoroton mentions memorials to the following families; Staunton, Berwyks, Segrave, Mowbray and Stanley but there is no trace of any of these now. The following monuments can be found around the church, clockwise from the south door.

The Rev Conolly McCausland remarried and became a curate in his father-in-law’s parish.

The next two monuments on the north wall are between the windows. The first is in the shape of a cross made from painted wood and is a replica of a cross erected in memory of Captain George Leigh Paget of the Rifle Brigade who died of wounds received at Kaapmuiden on 9 October 1900. He was 30 and the eldest son of Sir G. E. Paget Bart. of Sutton Bonington, chairman of the Midland Railway Company.

Admiral Sir William King Hall commanded several ships in the Crimean and Opium wars. He was appointed Commander in Chief, The Nore, in 1877.

On the north wall under the angel window is a metal cross with shelf underneath:

The Latin text is taken from Bede's History of the English Church and People, Book III, Chapter XII (AD 703), and can be translated as:

Such were his love or peace
and clarity, purity and humility: his
soul which triumphed over anger and
greed and despised pride and conceit.

Godfrey, 1st Baron Elton of Headington, was an author, historian and academic. After fighting in WW1 he joined the Labour party and was a supporter of Ramsay McDonald who raised him to the peerage in 1934.

On the south wall to the left of the door is a brass plaque:

Sir Alexander Armstrong was a naval surgeon, explorer and author. He was made honorary physician to Queen Victoria and the Prince of Wales.
