MRS Margaret Gooddy

On north wall of the nave is a marble plaque in memory of Francis Wilkinson:

TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF
FRANCIS ERNEST WILKINSON
WHO DIED APRIL 5TH 1923,
AGED 66 YEARS.
A CHURCHWARDEN OF THIS PARISH FOR
FORTY YEARS AND A DEVOTED
WORSHIPPER IN THIS CHURCH.

Just inside the south door there is a small floor slab to Penelope Sandys, daughter of Sir Martin Sandys (second son of Archbishop Sandys). Martin was born in 1597 and had Scrooby settled upon him by his father. The inscription reads:

Here lyeth ye body of Penelope Sandys,
daughter of Sr Marten Sandys,
obyt 25 of December
Anno Dom. 1690.

South Aisle

Above the south door at the east end of the south aisle is the fragment of a grave marker dated 1760.
