Holy Trinity

Bells

A single bell was hung in the western tower. It was cast by Thomas Mears Founder London.

Around the waist it bore the text:

THOMAS MEARS FOUNDER LONDON
TO EVERYONE THAT THIRSTETH
COME YE TO THE WATERS, ISAIAH. LV,C.1,V
TRINITY CHURCH NOTTINGHAM. 1841

After the church was demolished the bell was melted down and the metal used for the casting of a new bell for Holy Trinity, Clifton.
