Mansfield Woodhouse St Catherine’s Mission Church

List of Incumbents

St Catherine's mission church was serviced by curates from St Edmund’s church.

One of the most popular curates was the Rev Sydney J. Galloway who was involved with the mission church from c1911 until he was appointed chaplain to the Northumberland Light Infantry and left for Newcastle in August 1915. His departure 'was very much felt, because he had endeared himself to everyone by his devotion to his work, and his attractive personality.' He returned to Warsop after the end of the First World War.
