Rehung on a steel frame, replacing a wooden frame, in 1953, there were originally 5 bells with a 6th added in memory of two churchwardens. At the Edward VI inventory in 1552 there were four bells and two hand bells.

The old treble (bell 2) and the tenor (bell 6) are the work of George I Oldfield of Nottingham. Bells 3 and 4 are from the medieval Nottingham foundry in the hands of the Seliok family; the moulding wires indicate a date of after 1510. The 5th bell was cast by Thomas Hedderly.

The bells appear to have been 5 by 1635 making them one of the earliest 5s in the county.
