A Royal British Legion Standard is erected on the north wall to the side of the following plaques:

A bronzed metallic wall plaque with white lettering mounted on the north wall on a dark oak ground reads:

PRAY
FOR THE SOULS OF

1939 – 1945

Book of Remembrance

A Book of Remembrance in a light oak glazed cabinet beneath the above plaque commences with the statement:

They shall not grow old
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission maintains a series of First World War gravesites at St Alban’s church, Forest Town, which relate to soldiers and one nurse attached to the ‘Clipstone Camp’.

Edwinstowe and Clipstone Cross

A combined memorial at the Church Street/Mansfield Road crossroads in Edwinstowe incorporates the Clipstone and Edwinstowe World War I and II monument. This consists of a finely worked stone Celtic style wheel cross on a tapering two stage plinth and two stepped base on a raised platform having dimensions of depth 1000mm, height 3500mm and width 1250mm.

The inscriptions read:

The name PTE. E. BENTLEY appears alone on the side of the memorial. His is the only name with a rank enumerated.

Edwinstowe Church Memorial

A marble war memorial tablet is also placed for the villages of Edwinstowe, Clipstone, and Carburton, on the east wall of the Lady Chapel in St. Mary's church in Edwinstowe. This was refurbished as a War Memorial in 1921 by the Revd Frank Cecil Day-Lewis. A memorial to those who gave their lives in World War II has since been added.

Clipstone Welfare Site Monument

A further War Memorial is provided at the south-west corner of the grounds of the Clipstone Welfare Hall. No names are listed on this monument but it forms a focal point for a local Remembrance Service. The plaque reads:
