Under the easternmost arch of the north chancel arcade is the chest tomb to Humphrey Fitzwilliam who died in 1556. It is an important and rare early example of Renaissance plasterwork. A brass plaque on top of the tomb reads:

Humfray Fitzwilliam Esquyer was buryed at Claworth ye
xxviii of Octobre Ao 1556, who had to wiffe Anne one of
ye dowghters of Willm Dalyton of Laghton in the County of
Lincolne Esquyer which Anne was buryed at Claworth the
last day of June Ao 1558 and had issue sones, Willm, Charles
Roger, Thomas, Edward, Humfray, & dowghters Elizabeth
Margarett, Dorothe and Anne whose soules God pardon

Against the west wall of the north aisle is an upright floor stone to an 11-week old child of Thomas and Hannah Dickonson who died in 1675:

having great Powers of Mind & an Aversion to an
inactive Life by persevering Application She ac-
quired the Ability to write & maintain a numerous
Correspondence – & to employ herself on many Sub-
jects of Utility & Amusement with her left Hand.
She was eminent for the Endowments both of [Rea-]
son & Understanding – for her religious and […]o
[…]ral Virtues & her liberal, yet judicious
Benevolencies.
She died after a Weeks Illness perfectly sensible

The Otter Room is at the west end of the south aisle.

Henry Royston Otter was accidentally shot while he was practising target shooting while he was at home on leave in November 1909. He was seriously wounded in the head and died the same day.
