One of the bells in the tower is in memory of the seven First World War deaths.

In the churchyard, north side, a family grave marker records the death of Captain Thomas Stanley Roadley RFC who was killed in action on 17 August 1917. A detailed biography of Roadley is available on the Nottinghamshire Great War Roll of Honour website.
