The north wall of
'Cramner's Cottage'

The medieval chapel of the Holy Trinity has a considerable portion of old walls still extant, and currently forming part of a house called 'Cramner's Cottage'. There is 13th century moulding in the south wall, with a contemporary string course opposite, also a small doorway of c1500. The building is now largely a cottage. Recognisable remains comprise the north walls of a cottage at at present with a part rendered finish but open stonework to the north elevation. The doorway was covered over some years ago and its location has locally been forgotten.

It is expected that the potential of both above-ground and below-ground stratigraphy will be HIGH-VERY HIGH, meriting detailed archaeological investigation in the event of alteration or threat.
